Following the tradition of the 18th century artisan, the Landell Flute is the creation of two hands, from beginning to end. Working closely together, Jonathon Jr. & Sr. build their instruments to be as intensely personal and artful as the flutists who play them. As research and technology bring new innovations to flute making, the Landell Flute will selectively incorporate all the best methods and designs which enhance the traditional concept of the instrument; however the basic concept of "One Man, One Flute", a principle of creation embodied in our Alpha-Omega hallmark, will continue to make the Landell Flute just as unique in this world of mass production as each individual is in the mind of our Creator.
